Leith,

Fabulous work as always. How 'do' you do it!? Heather, I think the whole world did ( it's o.k ) She just had a way of carrying herself in a dignified manner regardless of the setting.

And you have to admit, The Stones could be some pretty silly guys to hang around with? But I have to ask a favor and I wouldn't if I could find them myself?

When Exile on Main Street came out, there was a "collector's item" inside the 2-record set. They were these campy postcards shot on a wharf in 1930's fashions and Bianca was just a knock-out. Has -anyone- been able to find them? Ebay, anywhere? I usually find original issue records but there's never any mention of these wonderful ( black & white ) photos.

I think she was exotic and carried herself very well. But I just think she couldn't hold a candle to Marianne or Anita back in the day, as far as beauty and brains. That's just my opinion though. I feel that the Stones were at their most creative while under the influence of Anita and Marianne, who, at the time, were stars in their own right. Bianca was never more than a diletantte, who really copied Anita's fashion sense (before Anita was too far gone, of course.) Had Anita taken care of herself, she'd have retained her power and would have looked better than B.
Of course, now Bianca is very involved in charitable causes and has aged quite well. Plus, she gave as good as she got with Mick - making him jealous, etc. Still, she's always had an aloofness about her that I can't get past.

Another great blog, Leith!

J, I completely agree (of course)! She couldn't hold a candle to Anita and Marianne in any capacity. The fact that Keith and Anita hated her makes me think that she really was a bitch (Keith just always seems like a good judge of character, don't you think?). I just like posting new pics.
